Franck Soulayrol is undoubtedly a rising star in the region. The son of a winemaker and nephew of the Vaillé family, owners of La Grange des Pères, he spent many years traveling throughout French vineyards to gain experience. In 2021, he returned to his native land, on the shores of Lake Salagou, to build his estate and put his expertise into practice. Domaine l'Oratoire Saint Jean d'Aureilhan is located in the heart of the Languedoc region, between Béziers and Montpellier.

The Mourvèdre, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Chenin Blanc vines thrive on six hectares of soil, primarily composed of schist, limestone, and marl. Franck Soulayrol practices organic viticulture, respecting the environment. He prefers manual labor and minimal intervention in winemaking. The wines are aged in Burgundy barrels. The bottles are sold under the IGP Coteaux de Salagou designation.

A Domaine to watch very closely...
