Details

Jean-François Ganevat returned to the Jura region in 1998, settling in the Rotalier valley after many years at Jean-Marc Morey's estate in Chassagne-Montrachet. A leading figure in the natural wine movement, this winemaker also has a perfect command of biodynamic practices. He has forged a highly personal vision of what constitutes a great wine: each single-vineyard selection possesses a unique personality, with variations in harmony and tension reflecting each terroir. Thanks to low yields and meticulous work in the vineyard, the reds, increasingly aged in terracotta jars, have now reached a remarkable level and are as accomplished as the whites.
