Details

Domaine Marcel Deiss is a family winegrowers established since 1744 in Bergheim, Alsace. Led by the talented Jean-Michel Deiss, Domaine Marcel Deiss cultivates 27 hectares of vines divided into 220 highly diverse plots in the Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru appellations.

The Marcel Deiss vineyard is managed biodynamically, using traditional Alsatian winemaking techniques (co-planting, plowing, digging, composting, grassing), without weeding or chemical fertilizers. The emphasis is placed above all on the expression of the terroir, with the estate cultivating no fewer than 220 plots, all co-planted. The terroir-driven wines of Domaine Marcel Deiss naturally bear the hallmarks of these standards: these are wines that signal a return to the true, centuries-old Alsatian tradition, a return to the golden age.
