Purchased by the Daumen family in 1905, Domaine de la Vieille Julienne has grown from father to son. Jean-Paul Daumen joined the estate in 1990. With the vine and the terroir being his priority, he opted for an ecological cultivation, resulting in the limitation of treatments on the vines, the abandonment of chemical products... Sensitive to biodynamics, the climate, the moon, the planets are all parameters taken into account. In the spirit of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, the grape varieties planted at the estate are Syrah, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Cinsault, as well as extremely rare grape varieties such as Muscardin and Vaccarèse. Domaine de la Vieille Julienne produces 10 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and 5 hectares of Côtes du Rhône.
