The Roger Belland estate is located in Santenay and boasts a prestigious selection of Premier Crus, complemented by a Grand Cru – the largest plot of Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. Roger has been assisted by his daughter Julie since 2003.
For six generations, the Belland family has cultivated 23 hectares of vines, located on the finest Premier Cru and Grand Cru terroirs in the villages of Maranges, Santenay, Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard.

Clos Pitois is a monopoly of the Roger Belland estate. The result is this Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Clos Pitois, a single-varietal Chardonnay. This vineyard is one of the most renowned vineyards in the commune. The vines that make up this cuvée were planted in the early 1950s on 1.44 hectares of the vineyard. Vineyard work is environmentally friendly, with grass cover and the banishment of copper in the rows.
After a hand-picked harvest, the berries undergo gentle pressing and natural cold decantation for up to 36 hours in stainless steel vats. Fermentation takes place for a full year in new oak barrels. Stirring is carried out weekly.
