Taken over in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, the iconic Dujac estate today extends over 11.5 hectares. He offers us a rare and magnificent Puligny-Montrachet from the 1er cru Les Folatières. This is the result of meticulous work. It must be said that Jacques Seysse refuses the idea of “injuring” the precious chardonnay logs through destemming. This is why fermentations are done in whole clusters. At the same time, the wines are aged in carefully chosen barrels and are bottled without prior fining and filtration which could harm the integrity of the wine.

Details

Jacques Seysses created the Dujac estate in 1968 with the purchase of four and a half hectares. He is also associated with Aubert de Villaine in the Var (Triennes). Today it is Jacques' children who run the Dujac estate, Jérémy, his wife Diana (American onologist) and Alec Seysses. The estate, certified in organic farming, extends over around fifteen hectares in the largest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits and in particular in Morey-Saint-Denis. The estate's wines have excellent aging potential; they are characterized overall by great complexity and great delicacy.
