Premier Grand Cru Classé of Sauternes in 1855, Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey is one of the most prestigious names in the emblematic sweet wine appellation located in the south of the Bordeaux region. This very old wine estate, whose origins date back to the 12th century, has stood the test of time with splendor and prestige. Since its purchase by Grands Crus lover and businessman Silvio Denz, also CEO of Lalique, in 2014, Lafaurie-Peyraguey has experienced a real revolution with a rise in quality which has raised it to the rank of the greatest Sauternes.

Direct neighbor of the iconic Château d'Yquem, Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey has an exceptional terroir with a 36-hectare vineyard superbly located on the high terrace of Sauternes gravel resting on a limestone substrate.

Because great wines are born on great terroirs, Silvio Denz has pursued with conviction and passion his desire to capture the most beautiful essence of this terroir by transcribing it into wines of excellence. From the vineyard to the cellar, each stage of the production of Sauternes de Lafaurie-Peyraguey demonstrates constant attention and technical expertise.

Presented since the 2013 vintage in their glass case from a unique Lalique creation, the Crus of Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey reveal an identity with a strong personality. Richness of aromas, precision and purity of fruit characterize the elegant and refined style of these Sauternes, superbly expressive in their youth, evolving with rare complexity over the years while retaining this brilliant vivacity.
