The history of Domaine Geantet-Pansiot is inextricably linked to that of the Côte de Nuits. From the 1950s onward, from Chambolle-Musigny to Marsannay, and of course including Gevrey-Chambertin, the family's ancestral home, Edmond Geantet and his son Vincent mastered Pinot Noir like no other. Vintage after vintage, their style became more defined, and the duo's signature style took shape. Joined by his son Fabien, Vincent continues the family tradition: sustainable viticulture to best respect the expertise of their predecessors, healthy harvests followed by meticulous sorting, and cold pre-fermentation maceration, a true hallmark of the estate, along with light carbonic maceration. The result is undeniable: the fruit expresses itself with rare intensity, a touch of crispness is always present, and every sip is a delight. Flattering, made for aging without ever being austere, the wines of the Geantet-Pansiot estate are among the most renowned in Burgundy.
