Located in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, Domaine Les Bruyères is run by the passionate David Reynaud. He owns a total of 28 hectares of vines (20 owned and 8 acquired through grape purchases) which he has converted to organic and biodynamic farming. David Reynaud gives pride of place to Syrah, the indigenous grape variety that represents 87% of the total plantings, complemented by Merlot and Viognier. Yields are carefully controlled at approximately 35 hectoliters per hectare of terraced vineyards composed of clay, limestone, and pebbles. The wines are vinified and aged in a fully underground cellar. The grapes are therefore received and transferred to concrete tanks for the reds and stainless steel tanks for the whites.
