Details

A true winemaking genius, Bernard Dugat acquired his first plot in 1973... when he was only 15 years old. Gradually, the estate was built through successive purchases of plots in the appellation's greatest vintages, notably in Charmes-Chambertin and Mazis-Chambertin, as well as in village and regional appellations. Ten hectares now make up this family's property, which is part of the Gevrey-Chambertin landscape.

Loïc, Bernard's son, has taken up the torch and represents the 13th generation of winegrowers and winemakers in the family.

No less than four centuries of expertise guide these men and women to produce excellent wines.
The estate's wines are the very expression of the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir (as well as those of Meursault, Pommard, Fixin, etc.). The farm has also been certified organic since 2015. The plots are maintained with the greatest care, and the vast majority come from old vines (average 65 years old) in mass selection. Yields are thus limited, in order to maximize concentration and the classic and careful aging in barrels (between 50 and 100% new oak) lasts between 14 and 18 months.
