Details

Château L’Arrosée, founded in the 19th century, was taken over by the Caille family in 2002. Eager to elevate the estate's wines to the level they deserved, Roger and Jean-Philippe Caille have done everything they can to make L’Arrosée a benchmark on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. They have magnificently achieved this goal, judging by the evolution of their wines.

Ideally located on the southern slopes of the Saint-Emilion hillside, between Château Angélus and Château Pavie, L’Arrosée boasts 9.5 hectares of vines, 60% of which are Merlot and 40% Cabernet (20% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon—a total that represents a true uniqueness in Saint-Emilion, Merlot country).
