Created in 1931, the René and Vincent Dauvissat estate has been managed from generation to generation by the Dauvissat family, grandfather Robert, father René then Vincent who joined him in the 1970s. He now manages the estate with a constant concern for respect for the vineyard. The vineyard occupies 11 hectares in total and produces on average 70,000 bottles per year, all vintages combined. Strict respect for the terroir is the watchword that guides all of the work: sustainable cultivation of the vines, modest yields, use of new oak for fermentation and aging... Result: fresh and mineral wines, with good aging potential (to be forgotten in the cellar for at least five years). Considered among the best producers of Chablis, the René and Vincent Dauvissat estate produces wines of very good quality, sure values.
