Details
Le Clos des Jacobins is located at the entrance to the medieval town of Saint-Emilion, covering nearly 9 hectares. The estate's vineyard, which has been in one piece since the 17th century, is cultivated using sustainable methods. Formerly owned by the Cordier family (Gruaud Larose, Talbot, etc.), it has now been owned by the Decoster family since 2004. This Grand Cru Classé boasts an early-ripening and generous terroir composed of limestone scree and clay. The renovations undertaken have enhanced the quality of the wine, produced with traditional expertise.
The wine from Le Clos des Jacobins develops aromas of black fruits. It is generous, full-bodied, and structured on the palate, revealing delicious spicy notes. A complex and balanced wine with good aging potential.
