Château Palmer is a true star of the Margaux appellation, on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region. Having built its reputation on legendary vintages, Château Palmer continues to write its history under the direction of the talented Thomas Duroux.
Benefiting from an exceptional terroir located in the immediate vicinity of the Gironde estuary, Château Palmer boasts a rather unusual grape variety mix in the Médoc, featuring a predominantly Merlot (47%), alongside Cabernet Sauvignon in equal proportions (47%), combined with Petit Verdot (6%).
Château Palmer's philosophy is based on a simple desire: to reveal the pure expression of a complex terroir. With a resolutely forward-looking approach, Château Palmer was among the pioneers, introducing biodynamics to the vineyard in 2008.
Château Palmer represents, above all, a unique style that stands out as an exception in the Margaux appellation. Endowed with immense class and defined by exemplary precision, Château Palmer wines present a noble aromatic bouquet. The imprint of the Merlot unmistakably emerges through the vibrant expression of the fruit. Silky texture with perfectly extracted tannins, the palate reveals a charming palate in the wine's youth, developing a long, lingering finish over time. A great Margaux.
