The presence of Mourvèdre gives it a lot of character, balance, and complexity over time. This rosé attracts with its powerful nose with notes of pink grapefruit. Its ample and round palate with a slight hint of spice reveals a beautiful freshness thanks to its acidity balance.

Details

Domaine Tempier is today the benchmark vintage of the Bandol vineyard. The Peyraud family has done everything possible to rise to the top of a regional and, above all, local hierarchy. Daniel Ravier, the current director of the estate, initiated this reconquest. He was able to launch a major investment program in the cellar, with modern winemaking equipment, followed by a complete renovation of the tuns. He then paid particular attention to an exceptional wine heritage composed of very old Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault, and Grenache vines, which produce, among others, three famous vintages. La Migoua (10 hectares in Beausset-Vieux, half Mourvèdre supplemented by Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah), La Tourtine (5.5 hectares on the terraces of Castellet facing due south with a large majority of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault) and Cabassaou (1.5 hectares facing due south, 95% Mourvèdre with a hint of Syrah and Cinsault).
