Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet is, above all, a family story. Managed by Benoît and Jean-Baptiste, Jean-Claude Bachelet's sons, who arrived in 2000 and 2005 respectively, the estate has risen to the top of the rising stars of the region and the Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet appellations. The reason? A culture of their 10 hectares (including 6 in Chardonnay) inspired by organic and biodynamic farming and meticulous winemaking. Thus, the work of the vines leaves nothing to chance. The soils are worked to promote microbial life and encourage the vines to draw the necessary nutrients deep into the soil. In the cellar, the berries are gently pressed and only indigenous yeasts carry out their work of starting fermentation. Furthermore, the aging process is spread out over a long period of time in order to give the wines precision, sensuality and energetic flavor.
