Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg was created in 1933 by Jeanne Gibourg and André Mugneret. Their son Georges Mugneret took over and expanded the estate and today it is Marie-Christine and Marie-Andrée, the daughters of Georges and Jacqueline, who run it. The vineyard is spread across the Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Ruchottes-Chambertin and Clos Vougeot appellations. The wines from this estate display a very classic style and the quality has progressed greatly in recent years. The vintages can be presented under two labels, Georges Mugneret and Mugneret-Gibourg.
