Notes of honey, cedar, acacia flowers and hazelnuts characterize the estate's Meursault 1er Cru Perrières. It is one of the most popular 1st growths in the commune - notably thanks to Coche-Dury - which should be left to rest for at least 10 years before tasting. You will then appreciate its perfect balance between power and minerality typical of its terroir. Elegant, harmonious and persistent, it is undeniably a must of the estate... Even of the appellation!

Details

Historically, it is on white wines that Domaine des Comtes Lafon has built its legend. Created by Jules Lafon at the end of the 19th century, it was originally located in Meursault; The family subsequently acquired a few plots of Montrachet, as well as three of the best premier crus of Volnay. René Lafon, grandson of Jules, began bottling at the estate in 1961. The current owner, Dominique Lafon, son of René (and great-grandson of Jules), is today one of the standard bearers of Burgundian excellence, with a reputation that goes far beyond our borders due to his unrivaled talents as a winemaker. The estate's white wines are characterized by their smoothness and exceptional richness in extract.
Viticulture, which has long tended to preserve the environment, has been officially certified "organic" since 1998, coupled with the essential principles of biodynamics. A legendary domain!
