Claude Dugat, today acclaimed by a worldwide clientele, produces an infinitesimal quantity of high-quality wines on the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir. On this carefully cultivated estate, the yields are microscopic and the vinification leaves little room for human intervention: no fining or filtration on these wines for which the estate produces, in the most prosperous years, barely 50 cases of Griotte Chambertin and 100 of Charmes Chambertin. Very long-keeping, these wines of great complexity and great richness have the particularity of showing good regularity across the entire range produced, even in small vintages. Essentially reserved for aficionado customers, they are therefore not found in traditional circuits
