The Clos Frantin estate, owned by Albert Bichot, produces the following wines: in grands crus, Richebourg, Chambertin, Clos-de-Vougeot, Grands-Echézeaux, Echézeaux, in premier cru, Vosne-Romanée ""Les Malconsorts"" and in villages, Gevrey-Chambertin ""Les Murots"", Vosne-Romanée Les Maizières, Vosne-Romanée Les Damaudes and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Clos Frantin estate covers 13 hectares, including 8 hectares of premiers and grands crus. Fertilizers and weedkillers have been replaced by compost and plowing. Respect for the soil, strict pruning and green harvesting where necessary allow for high-quality fruit. The estate's wines are vinified in a historic building at the entrance to Nuits-Saint-Georges. In the winery, gravity-fed fermentation has replaced mechanical operations to preserve the quality and aromatic potential of the grapes.

The Clos Frantin estate owns 17 ares of land in the Chambertin region. This plot was planted over 50 years ago and is located at the upper end of the climat on relatively marly soils. The grapes often ripen late, so they are often harvested towards the end of the harvest. The Clos Frantin estate produces a maximum of 900 bottles of this cuvée per vintage.
