Closerie Saint Roc, located in Puisseguin in the Bordeaux region, was acquired in December 2016 by the Amoreau family—also owners of Château Le Puy, renowned for its celebrated *Emilien*, *Barthélémy*, and *Retour des îles* cuvées. Pascal and Valérie Amoreau, partnering with Harold Langlais on this project, seized the opportunity to revive a piece of local history and showcase their winemaking expertise by producing exceptional wines.
Closerie Saint Roc spans 16 hectares across the Bordeaux and Côtes de Bordeaux appellations, specializing primarily in red wines crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The vineyard benefits from clay-limestone subsoil resting on a limestone bedrock, lending the estate's wines remarkable freshness and fine minerality. Furthermore, the Amoreau family employs biodynamic farming practices that respect the vines and their ecosystem.
