Details

Established in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, since 1825, the Faiveley family manages one of Burgundy's finest estates. Since 2005, Erwan, joined by his sister Eve in 2014 – the seventh generation of the family – has passionately and wholeheartedly continued the values of excellence inherent to Domaine Faiveley, passing them on to future generations.

With over 120 hectares of vineyards spread across the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune, and the Côte Chalonnaise, Domaine Faiveley boasts an exceptional viticultural heritage, encompassing superb Grand and Premier Cru parcels that embody the very essence of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

By combining respect for tradition with modernity, Domaine Faiveley produces truly great Burgundy wines. The vines are cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices aimed at preserving the diversity of the local flora and fauna.

Under the direction of Jérôme Flous, Wine & Vineyard Director at Domaine Faiveley, every stage of winemaking is carried out with the utmost care and exacting standards. Harvested by hand at perfect ripeness, the grapes are then sorted and selected at the estate before vinification proceeds, ensuring that the unique character of each plot and grape variety is respected. Punching down the cap is done by hand, following traditional methods. The wines are then aged for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, using Burgundian casks specifically chosen to express the vintage.

With a wide range of wines exhibiting remarkable precision and accuracy, Domaine Faiveley is a leading name among Burgundy wine enthusiasts.
