Details

Born into a Burgundy winemaking family, Olivier Leflaive inherited around twenty hectares of vines. After studying business in Reims, he led the life of an artist before returning to Burgundy in the 1980s and becoming co-manager of the Leflaive estate with his cousin Anne-Claude. He then decided to create his own winemaking and aging business. He surrounded himself with oenologist Franck Grux, with whom he created beautiful, affordable wines using purchased grapes from the estate.
