The vineyard was completely replanted in 1988, and the first harvest took place in 1991. Château de Myrat is a traditional family estate spanning 30 hectares, 22 of which are planted with vines, all in one piece around an 18th-century château.
The harvest is carried out by hand and through successive selections. Vinification and maturation are carried out in barrels so that each batch of grapes is monitored separately.
Grape varieties: 88% Sémillon, 8% Sauvignon, and 4% Muscadelle.
Château de Myrat, thanks to its unique Barsac terroir, is a very refined and powerful wine, very spicy and peppery, always with one priority: the pursuit of finesse, elegance, and balance.
