The Champagne house Jacquesson & Fils was founded in 1798 in Dizy. From its inception, it made waves, as following the award of a gold medal for the quality of its cellars by Napoleon I, Jacquesson Champagne was considered the Emperor's favorite. The 19th century was a turbulent one for the house, as it experienced rapid growth under the leadership of Adolphe Jacquesson, reaching a production of one million bottles. Following financial troubles and a succession crisis, it was placed under the supervision of three notables in 1873. Meanwhile, the Jacquesson house filed the patent for the wire cage in 1844 and participated in the creation of the Krug house. The house, which boasts a vineyard of around thirty hectares located in Avize, Aÿ, Dizy, and Hautvillers, subsequently passed through several hands.
A new chapter in history has been written with the departure of brothers Laurent and Jean-Hervé Chiquet, who raised this fine house to the highest echelons of Champagne. The Artémis group has taken over the reins under the direction of Jean Garandeau, but the teams remain unchanged: Yann Le Gall, cellar master, and Mathilde Prier, head of cultivation, are still there to perpetuate the soul of the house. The 700 cuvées represent the majority of the production. What a journey since the release of 728, from the 2000 vintage! The estate releases a late disgorgement each year; the first to be produced and released was 733, based on 2005. Only a few plot-based productions, depending on the quality of the vintage, are produced.

Based on the 2020 harvest, it is a champagne combining elegance, depth and minerality. Vinification and aging in very old tuns.
