Details

With over 170 years of experience, the Deutz Champagne House was founded in 1838 in Aÿ, the oldest and most famous cru in the Champagne region, by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, two young and enterprising Prussian immigrants.

The small trading house quickly prospered, its reputation spreading beyond its borders, and in 1882, it became one of the founding members of the Syndicat des Grandes Marques (Great Brands Association).

True to the founders' philosophy of producing blends of consistent character in the pure Deutz style, successive directors acquired parcels classified as Grand and Premier Crus in Champagne.

Today, including purchases from winegrower partners, the total supply reaches nearly 200 hectares, nearly 80% of which are "Grand Cru" or "Premier Cru."

Under the leadership of its President, Fabrice Rosset, Maison Deutz has adopted a policy of sustainable production and limited yields, which, coupled with the use of "vins de cuvée" or "first pressed" wines, has allowed the establishment of a remarkably consistent quality, a true "Deutz style," appreciated worldwide and enhanced by selective distribution.

Elegance, distinction, and finesse: finely crafted wines for connoisseurs.
